Well first I would like to thank Chainspeed on their first class service, I would highly recommend buying from them and will be using them again and again. So the product I bought was the "Garmin Zumo XT" Now I have always had tomtom's, but this is leaps and bounds over them. I am so impressed with it, it is very fast to load up and the screen is very bright and can be seen in full sunlight easily, the wealth of apps and in-depth platforms to custom it to you and how you use it is really great. The only one disappointment is XT is not recognised by my MacBook Pro ("Garmin Express" works fine for updates) but I have to use a PC to load Basecamp and MP3 music etc to the XT device. I did find on Garmin's own support site after hours of searching that it is NOT compatible and won't show up on desktop, a bit of a pain and serious oversight on Garmin's part and not to advertise that fact! So with hindsight would I buy one again knowing all this. YES I would it's a great feature rich Sat-nav that should see me through many happy years. Again many thanks to Chainspeed.
It cannot be compared with the previous models. There is a big diffirence in quality, screen, software and all hardware. It is high tech device with low price.
