Autocom Replacement 7 Pin Pillion Lead
For all Autocom systems that use 7 pin headset leads
Simple to fit, simply remove the 2 screws securing the lid of the Autocom unit, unplug old lead and replace with new lead.
The latest Autocom systems have the screws on the bottom whereas older systems may have the screws under the top label.
Can be also used as the riders lead if a shorter length is required.
As ordered, quick delivery and bike back in action
Was having an issue with my Autocom (Smart Rider 7) in that the pillion headset only worked on one speaker. Spoke to Chainspeed who were very knowledgeable & supportive. They suggested swapping the rider pillion leads from the under seat unit. The fault transferred & they suggested a new pillion lead. Even gave me the part number. Works a treat now & a fraction of the cost of a new unit (£160+). Very pleased
Following rider to pillion Autocom problems, Sam at Chainspeed diagnosed a defective cable. Replacement has resolved all my previous concerns. Thanks Sam!
I use 3 Autocom Pro AVi units as a professional motorcycle Instructor. One fitted to each bike and a back-up kit. I no longer use the standard Rider lead, because it's too long. I therefore connect the pillion lead to the riders connection, making things neater.
It goes without saying for me that I much prefer the Autocom products which are very professionally and knowledgeably led by Sam at Chainspeed. Priceless!
